This year has been another successful one for CAP and also a very important one as we launched our 25th anniversary of supporting the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield. Our giant Christmas card has been travelling all over Sheffield stopping at our supporters and local businesses for them to sign as a mark of their ongoing support and appreciation for the project. Our Carol Service was also a success with some lovely heartfelt words from Bishop John Gladwin about the importance of the project.
We also had a really busy Harvest season in October, with schools, churches, businesses and individuals all kindly donating food for the people who use the project. Thank you so much for your generosity.
2014 also saw two successful sleep outs, raising much needed funds for the project. One person said “It is the best way to get a glimpse of what it is like to be homeless, cold and tired and it really furthers your understanding of the difficulties this creates.” We have another one coming up in March 2015, details here: http://www.archerproject.org.uk/images/Sleep%20Out%20Reg.pdf
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our supporters- new and old this year. It is because of your ongoing dedication to the project that we are still here, 25 years on. We intend to continue to be here throughout 2015 and beyond, for as long as we are needed. Please make this a reality by continuing to support us next year.
From everyone at CAP we wish you a very happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year.
