DLA Piper's 10th Anniversary Supporting CAP

23/05/2016

A little and often goes a long way

DLA Piper has been supporting the Cathedral Archer Project for over 10 years. They have made donations of money and food, volunteered and are members of the Breakfast Club, sponsoring a week of breakfasts every year and raising between £500 and £1,000 annually through their Carol Service.

The impact of their support goes a long way.  Members of the team come into the project regularly to help serve breakfast and help in the stores, sorting food and clothing donations.  They learn about the work the Project does to support the homeless in Sheffield first hand and then help their friends and colleagues gain a fuller understanding.

Vikki McKay, partner at DLA Piper, commented, “We want to make an impact on our local community and being able to be hands on as well as offer financial support is important.  Our team learns about helping others, listening and understanding from their time at CAP.  They come back with stories of how the people that use the project really appreciate their time.”

If your business could support the work we do here at CAP please email Ruby on ruby.baker@sheffield-cathedral.org.uk
