Trekfest - The Peaks

Join Trekfest and challenge yourself, push your boundaries and support our work with the homeless and vulnerable.
The aim of this trek is simple - complete your chosen distance (either 25km which is equal to 15.5 miles, or 50km equal to 31 miles) whilst making every step count. In the time the event has been running (since 2013), it has already raised close to £2million.

The Peak District is home to stunning scenery, and more than lives up to its reputation as one of Britain’s most beautiful National Parks. Both routes start in Hope Valley – the heart of the Peak District, home to picturesque, ancient landscapes. Discover the rugged beauty of the Peaks for yourself!
Taking on TrekFest is by no means a walk in the park - it’s tough and will test you both physically and mentally, pushing your limits like never before. This makes it all the more rewarding when you complete the challenge, whilst simultaneously helping a great cause.

Whether you’re a solo trekker looking for a new challenge with like-minded individuals, or getting your friends, family or colleagues together as a group, the team spirit will be flying high and the TrekFest crew will be supporting you every step of the way. This is a chance for you to meet new people along the way, as you share your journey and experience with fellow trekkers.

The minimum age requirement for solo entry to the challenge is 18 years, though teenagers aged 14-17 can take part with a parent or guardian.

Trekfest take care of all the details – including route marking, marshalled and fully stocked checkpoints, medical support, food and refreshments along the route – allowing you to focus on the challenge ahead and keep putting one foot in front of the other until you cross the finish line.
