See what’s been happening at the Cathedral Archer Project.
Wednesday 11th March was National No Smoking Day across the country. The first No Smoking Day was held in 1984 and it now takes place on the second Wednesday in March each year.
Each year on International Women’s Day we like to do something to show how special the women who use the project are. We want them to feel valued and appreciated. This year was no exception, so we headed to Lush for a morning of facials, massages and a good old chin wag!
Since summer Sainsbury’s Local Arundel Gate has been supporting the work we do here at the Cathedral Archer Project. They have been wonderful supporters, helping us in many ways and most recently they have collected over £1000 for us in collection tins. This is an amazing result and we must also extend our thanks to the customers of the Arundel Gate store as it is their money which has been jangling in the tins.
MP David Blunkett joins in the Cathedral Archer Project’s Lent Appeal to help make a difference to the lives of homeless people in Sheffield.
On Friday the 6th February we held our ‘Wear a Woolly’ day across the city and whilst it wasn’t a particularly bracing day, everyone was getting wrapped up and in the spirit!
